Due to detailed understanding of Electrical Circuits and safe switching criteria, interfacing between the PLC/Controller and ProfiBus-DP, ControlNet or Modbus devices enabling networked control of intelligent motor protection relays (SIEMENS SIMOCODEs, Rockwell E3 Plus, NewElec MA Relays) and Variable Speed Drives (SIEMENS MicroMaster, VACON, Yaskawa G5 etc.) is easily achieved. The preferred communication bus is ProfiBus-DP/ASi or ControlNet/DeviceNet depending on the controller used, but other busses are used if the situation requires. Ethernet is mainly used to do non-critical PLC to PLC communication and PLC to SCADA communication, as well as Data storage and Historians etc.
Detailed knowledge of various legacy PLC and SCADA systems enables upgrading of existing plant and equipment with minimum impact on the operating staff and technical personnel. New installations are explained to the end user and the application software is well structured, documented and stays the property of the client.
